Safe Haul: Free Online Training for CMV Drivers

That’s why the Transportation Research and Education for Driving Safety (TREDS) at UC San Diego developed Safe Haul: Navigating U.S. Regulations for CMV Drivers, a free online training designed specifically for commercial motor vehicle drivers.

Safe Haul provides practical information to enhance driver knowledge of U.S. regulations, prepare for the road, and prevent crashes.

What Drivers Will Learn

The self-paced course covers key topics commercial drivers encounter on the road, including:

3.  Hours of service and fatigue

4.  Speed management and risk reduction

5.  Distracted driving prevention
